Delegate the domain to working nameservers on Cloudflare
Why it matters
The registry for your domain's ending has no nameservers on record for it, so the domain does not resolve for anyone. This usually follows an expired, held or newly registered domain with no nameservers set.
Staged change. Do this in stages and check each one before the next, so a mistake does not break your site or your mail.
The fix
- Add the domain to Cloudflare if it is not there yet, so the zone exists, and check that your records were imported correctly under DNS then Records.
- On the domain's Overview page Cloudflare shows the two nameservers assigned to the zone. Enter exactly those two at your registrar. If the domain is registered at Cloudflare Registrar, its nameservers are set for you.
- Cloudflare marks the zone Active once it sees the delegation, and emails you.
