Add a second nameserver on Cloudflare
Why it matters
Only one nameserver is listed for the domain, so if it is down or unreachable the website and email stop working for everyone. DNS rules ask for at least two servers on separate networks.
Staged change. Do this in stages and check each one before the next, so a mistake does not break your site or your mail.
The fix
- Cloudflare assigns every zone two nameservers. Enter both at your registrar. A single entry means the registrar has only one of them.
- You can find the assigned pair on the domain's Overview page in the dashboard.
