Fix the invalid DMARC record on Cloudflare
Why it matters
Receivers ignore a DMARC record they cannot parse, so no policy applies even though a record exists. The scan shows what did not parse.
The fix
- In the Cloudflare dashboard open DNS > Records, find the TXT record named _dmarc and choose Edit.
- Replace the Content with a valid record (see the snippet), without typing quotation marks. Save.
text
Type: TXT Name: _dmarc.example.com Content: v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc-reports@example.com
The examples use example.com. Replace it with your own domain.
