Fix the TLS-RPT record
Why it matters
Senders ignore a TLS-RPT record that is duplicated or has no usable report address, so you get no failure reports. The record needs one v=TLSRPTv1 and an rua URI.
The fix
- Keep exactly one TXT record at _smtp._tls that starts with v=TLSRPTv1; delete any other.
- It must have rua= followed by mailto:address or an https:// URL; several can be comma-separated. A bare email address without mailto: is not valid.
dns
_smtp._tls.example.com. IN TXT "v=TLSRPTv1; rua=mailto:tls-reports@example.com" The examples use example.com. Replace it with your own domain.
