Fix repeated or insecure fields in security.txt on Cloudflare

hygiene.security_txt.invalid_field · effort: minutes

Why it matters

Expires and Preferred-Languages may appear only once, and links to your policy, encryption key or acknowledgements page must use https. A file that breaks these rules can be rejected or misread by tools.

The fix

  1. If the file is managed in Cloudflare, open Security, Settings, Web application exploits, Security.txt, Configurations and correct the fields; Cloudflare asks for the preferred languages as one list.
  2. Use https:// for every link, then Save.
