Publish an XML sitemap on Shopify
Why it matters
A sitemap lists the pages you want search engines to find, which helps new and deep pages get discovered. Without one, crawlers rely on following links alone.
The fix
Not possible on Shopify. Shopify generates /sitemap.xml automatically (products, collections, pages and blog posts) and you cannot edit it. If it is missing or returns an error, check Settings, Domains and Online Store, Preferences for password protection, then contact Shopify Support.
