List the sitemap in robots.txt on Shopify
Why it matters
A sitemap exists at /sitemap.xml but robots.txt does not mention it, so crawlers that do not already know about it will not find it. Adding the line takes a minute.
The fix
Not possible on Shopify. Shopify's default robots.txt already lists the store's sitemap. If a customised robots.txt.liquid has removed the line, restore it there (Online Store, Themes, Edit code) or delete the template to return to the default.
