Make the sitemap reachable on Shopify
Why it matters
The sitemap address that robots.txt names, or the default one, cannot be fetched, so crawlers cannot use it. The address may be wrong, or the file may be blocked or failing.
The fix
Not possible on Shopify. Shopify serves /sitemap.xml itself, and you cannot move or edit it. If a Sitemap line in a customised robots.txt.liquid names another address, fix or delete that template; if /sitemap.xml itself fails, check Settings, Domains and password protection, then contact Shopify Support.
