Add structured data to the homepage on WordPress
Why it matters
Structured data is a small block of code that tells search engines who is behind the site, for example the name of the organization and the site. It can improve how your name and logo appear in search results, but it does not change rankings by itself.
The fix
- Use an SEO plugin (such as Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO or SEOPress), open its schema or knowledge graph settings and fill in the organization name, logo and profiles. It prints the JSON-LD for the homepage and your content types.
- Use only one plugin for schema, because two plugins that each print it create conflicting data.
