Consider adding an llms.txt file
Why it matters
llms.txt is a proposed convention for a short Markdown file that points AI tools to your most useful pages. It is optional and no search engine promises to use it, so treat it as a low-cost extra rather than a ranking factor.
The fix
- Create a Markdown file named llms.txt in the site root, so it is served at https://example.com/llms.txt. Start with one H1 with the site name, then a blockquote summary, then sections with links to your key pages.
- Keep it short and current, and link only to pages you want AI tools to read. Skip it if it would be one more thing to maintain.
llms.txt
# Example company > Example company sells handmade furniture in Europe and ships worldwide. ## Key pages - [Products](https://example.com/products): the full catalogue - [Shipping and returns](https://example.com/shipping): delivery times and costs - [Contact](https://example.com/contact): how to reach us
The examples use example.com. Replace it with your own domain.
