Add Open Graph tags for link previews on WordPress

Why it matters

Open Graph tags decide the title, text and image shown when someone shares your link on social networks and in chat apps. Without them each service guesses and the preview is often blank or ugly.

The fix

1. Use an SEO plugin (such as Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO or SEOPress), switch on its Open Graph or social option, and set the default sharing image and the homepage title and description.
